Det finns två personlighetsmodulgrupper för Link Controller Module:
• 1C31169G01 tillhandahåller en RS-232 seriell länk (i CE-märkta system måste applikationsportkabeln vara mindre än 10 meter (32,8 fot)).
• 1C31169G02 tillhandahåller en RS-485 seriell länk (kan även användas för att tillhandahålla en RS-422 seriell länk).
